A country with healthy youth population tends to progress and develop faster, why those with eye population but fewer young people face challenges that can show growth. The changing global environment rises concerns about the ability of traditional small-scale businesses to benefit from new opportunities. Rapid population growth and even faster urination create increasing demands. In India , urban population and growing about 2.6 times faster that ruler populations.
Youth participation in entrepreneurship activities is crucial for achieving economic and social development goals, including growth, innovation and employment. Promoting youth entrepreneurship not only helps reduce unemployment but also empowers young peoples to credit their own businesses interest of waiting for jobs.
In India, both the central and state governments have taken initactivs to encourage youth entrepreneurship by providing support and various scheme. Many universities and school have included entrepreneurship development in their cirricula at both graduate and post graduate levels. In Tamilnadu, the entrepreneurship development and innovation institute (EDII) offers workshops, training sessions, and mentorship program for school students. However, the covid-19 pandemic undoubtedly shook the economy, causing many to lose their jobs and businesses to close, leading to financial instability . To understand the current mindset of youth regarding entrepreneurship after the pandemic, students from Government High school, kathirvedu.
{Tehmeed begam, Dinesh Raj , pragadish, leneshwar ,selva gandhi,megasri,Harish Raaghav,dhivya , yuvanthika} conducted a survey with guidance from teachers and mentors. The serverly includes 70 response age 18 to 30 from diverse backgrounds who participated through digital forms.
The study of discriptive in nature and is both primary and secondary data was collected from various sources like websites ,book and journals, while primary data is collected through questionnai from 70 response in different demographic, gender ,area, educational background.
Entrepreneurship is the most effective tool for any national development. It acts like
a device for economic development and sustainable growth, as it is increase economic

Based on ministry of statistics and program implementation (m o s p i) for the year 2022, India's youth population in the border age range (increasing 15 to 29 years) is around 27.2 percentage of total population, this data clearly define the importance of youth and ensure the statement" youth development in the essential one of the national development". The main scope of study is to identify the outlook of youth towards entrepreneurship and also analyse the blocks faced by the educated youth to become an entrepreneur.

According to national youth policy (2014).youth defined as those aged 15 to 29 are considered youth , in partical terms , various program and schemes might target slightly different age groups based on there specific objectives. Therefore,while the strict policy definition is 15 to 29 ,considering the age groups 18 to 30 as youth in the context of goverment program and solietal norms in india is not uncommon,so we fixed our respondent in the age group 18 to 30 ages .For the better understanding age groups are classified inti 4 groups (from 18-21,22-24,25-27,28-30).
Maximum of response residence are in the urban region of Tamilnadu (65.7%). Gender can have a use effect of their way of thinking, does majorly affecting the result of the survey, in our research 51.4% male and 48.6% female respondent and activity league participated
Most of the response are educated ,around 47.1 % are completed there post graduate in the highest value ,1% of from silks like ITI similarly 1% of response or unable to complete their educational and employed highest value, at the same time 62.9% are completed their education and employed highest value,18.6% pursuring there educational (college level),5% of response are completed their education and searching job in the lowest value.
Youth interest in entrepreneurship has been on a significant rice around 72.9% respondents Are willing to start business at the same time 21.4% of youth willing to start business in future, only 5.7% percentage of youth disagree with entrepreneurship.
In our point of view many universities, colleges even a school level , Government and other organisation officers lot of public workshop, special classes, courses and degrees in entrepreneurship, providing student with the necessary skills and knowledge to start their businesses.
At the same time comparatively female respondents show more interest then male in entrepreneurship both ruler and urban areas. From the above data, we understand programs like the Pradhan Mantri MUDRA Yojana (PMMY) and schemes under stand-up India specifically target women entrepreneurs, providing them with ECR access to credit and financial assistance as well as SHGS(self help groups) have been instrumental in empowering women by providing them with training, resources, and a support network are place a vital role to create interest to women in entrepreneurship.
Moreover women are becoming educated and our of the opportunities available to them. This Ash encouraged mini to pursure entrepreneurial ventures. At the same time between the age group of 25 to 30 shows a significant interest in starting businesses. In this age group of looking to established there careers and see entrepreneurship as a viable and attractive option . Younger individuals often have fewer financial and familial responsibility, making them more building to take risks.
Around 37% of mails responted are interested to start food- related businesses the food industry, including restaurant, food delivery services, and food trucks, has seen significant growth. the popularity and the success stories of food startups like Madras coffee House by R. Sathish, collapse by Vikram Mohan, madhampatti catering by Rangaraj subbiah have inspired many young mens to enter this field.
At the same time 40 % of women responted or interested to start there interpreneurship journey in education and skill related business. Lack of family support place as significant challenge for many womens entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurship request substantial time and effort.
